The Victorian Greenkeepers Association will host a Couch Bowling Green Information Day at Buckley Park Bowling Club, 94 Cooper St, Essendon on 4 August. Guest speakers include Phil Ford and Patrick Maddern (Syngenta) with the latest results from teh VGA couch turf trials being presented. Includes BBQ lunch.

Dr Dara Park of Clemson University, South Carolina will be guest speaker at the STA QLD's Turf Water Issues Seminra to be held on 10 August at the DEEDI Redlands Research Station in Cleveland. QLD. Dara Park is visiting Brisbane from Clemson University (South Carolina) where she specialises in water and soil relationships in turfgrass systems.

The 2010 GCSAWA AGM will be held at Webley Golf Complex (host superintendent Darren Wilson) on 10 August.
