Australian Turfgrass Management Scoops TOCA Awards

Australian Turfgrass Management has again been recognised at the 2009 TOCA (Turf and Ornamental Communicators Association) annual awards which were announced recently at the TOCA annual conference in Puerto Rico. ATM collected another seven awards in the International category – four ‘first’ placings and two ‘merit’ awards – for design, writing and photography. These go alongside the eight collected last year and bring the total number to 23 ATM has won since first entering in 2006. The successful 2009 ATM entries were:

Best Design Publication
First Place (tie): “Huntingdale Crew Continues the Tradition” and “Melbourne Memories” - Jo Corne

Best Photo Publication
First: “Vinny, Marley and Blacky” - Brett Robinson
Merit: “Hyatt Regency Coolum 11th” - Brett Robinson

Best Writing Publication
First: “Tails From the Turf” - Brett Robinson
Merit: “Running on Empty – Making Ends Meet on the Murray” - Brett Robinson

Best Copywriting Publication
First: “Toro Turf Tour – Royal Adelaide Golf Club” - Brett Robinson
