AGCSA Annual General Meeting - 23 June 2010

As mentioned in recent editions of The Cut the 2010 AGCSA Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held during the 26th Australian Turfgrass Conference on the Gold Coast. The AGM will be conducted at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre at 5pm, Wednesday 23 June and in keeping with the constitution of the AGCSA, two board positions will become vacant and we are now calling for nominations. A notice of meeting, nomination form for AGCSA Board of Directors and appointment of proxy forms are now available through the members section of the AGCSA website under the AGM menu. The key dates to remember are:

• Annual General Meeting – 5pm, 23 July 2010
• Nominations for the two vacant Board of Director positions must be received by the AGCSA office by 4pm, Wednesday 12 May (42 days prior to the AGM) so need to be lodged by.
• Notice of appointment of proxy forms to be received by the AGCSA no later than 4pm, Friday 11 June 2010.

As approved at last year’s AGM, the AGCSA Annual Report will be sent to members in an electronic format this year and made available on through the members area on the AGCSA website. The annual report will be available from 15 May 2010. The minutes of the 2009 AGM will also be sent to members in an electronic format and again made available through the members area of the website.
